Paul is the Operating Partner of CCP. Paul has over 30 years of experience in financial markets, having spent the last 15 years as a CFO and COO in the alternative investment sector.

Prior to joining CCP, Paul ran his own consultancy business for 4 years, providing financial, operational, risk and regulatory support to private equity and hedge fund managers looking to grow their asset base, launch new funds or enhance their infrastructure. Prior to this Paul was interim COO at Pillarstone Europe and COO of Eclectica Asset Management where he helped to double assets under management in two years to $1.3bn, through new fund launches and the setting of higher operational due diligence standards.

From 2010 to 2012 Paul was COO (Asset Management) for Matrix Group, overseeing the operations and development of a £4bn diverse asset base. In this role he served as board director of several regulated entities. He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen where he qualified as a chartered accountant before becoming European Treasurer for a mid-sized US fixed income house and subsequently, Head of European Cash Management for Merrill Lynch International.

Paul has an MA from the University of Oxford and is a qualified corporate treasurer.
